The University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UT) is ranked among the United States’ top public research universities, centrally located within the United States. Our home is Knoxville, a thriving city with a population of 190,000, known for its festivals and great outdoors. Founded in 1794, UT is one of the nation’s oldest public universities with over 28,000 students from more than 100 countries.
