The University of Maine is the largest public research institution in the northeast state of Maine. It is home to 9,000 undergraduate students and 2,000 graduate students. It is ranked in the top 100 public colleges and universities in the latest U.S. News and World Report.

We have over 100 undergraduate majors and over 100 Masters and PhD programs. The University is home to a world-renowned College of Engineering that offers 11 specializations- from mechanical to chemical to bioengineering and much more.
