Loyola University Maryland
Loyola University Maryland is a Jesuit, Catholic university founded in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1852 by the Society of Jesus.
At Loyola, the ideals that have guided Jesuit universities for nearly 500 years—academic excellence, care for the whole person, service, justice, diversity, and integrity—among others, continue to mold the academic, social, and spiritual experiences we offer our students, the programs we pursue, and the relationships we build with our surrounding communities.
The benefits of Loyola’s Jesuit, liberal arts experience lead to a life-long approach of learning and questioning and critical analysis that prepare our alumni for—and set them apart in—the workforce and the world.
The University offers more than 50 undergraduate and 11 graduate programs through its three schools: Loyola College (Arts and Sciences), the Sellinger School of Business and Management, and the School of Education.
