I do not mind having roommates just as long as i can still focus and study. I find that its a big advantage to have roommates because you can help each other study and past tests.I have been following the no contact rule to move on from a break up and my roommate has helped me so much. Have you ever had a roommate or a close friend help you get over a break up?

I will say that although me and my freshman (1st semester) roommate had out differences, we stil remained friends and he understood when i moved out that there were no hard feelings. Im still extremly close with my freshman (2nd semester) roommate and all the people who i currently see on a regular basis (I graduated 2 years ago) are friends i met on my floor in the dorms freshman year.

Do not give up on your freshman year roommate if you don't hit it off right away. My freshman year, I lived in a quad with three other girls I had never met and thought one of my roommates was my total opposite and assumed we would never get along. We stuck it out, despite our differences, and moments of bonding from living together turned into a friendship. We are still roommates today as seniors and I predict we will be lifelong friends.
