Hi. I agree with Maria. There is a lot of information available--almost too much. Sometimes students need personalized assistance in finding the right college that suits their educational needs, personality, and professional aspirations. That's where a professional educational consultant can be quite useful--identifying the best college for each individual student.

Very informative post! It offers a great overview on what to look out for when applying to a college in the US.

I think the abundance of information available also separates the wheat from the chaff. Only the ones that are really interested in going abroad will have perseverence to find the suitable information on the web. Studying abroad is often not easy and people should be sure that they really want to do it!

Jake, I agree, Millenials may have more access to students, but it can still be very difficult for international students to have a place to start in their college search. The overwhelming amount of information can sometimes be more of a hindrance than help.

This brings up a really interesting point! For international students seeking a degree at an US college or university the deciding factors remain fairly constant. However there is a rapidly growing pool of information to decipher. Millennial students are relatively comfortable cutting through all the clutter on the Web, but have behaviors change because of the growing awareness of opportunities available?
