US College & University Fair to the Middle East

US Educational Group is heading to the following countries in MARCH 2011 with a number of US Colleges, Universities, and English Language Centers. We encourage you to register and attend the events where you will meet with international student admissions officials and speak to them about your interest in studying in the USA.

Learn about the American higher education application process, I-20 issues, university costs, housing, and more. Speak with representatives about admissions tests and test preparation including TOEFL®, SAT®, GRE®, and GMAT®. A face to face meeting is the best time to explore opportunities for higher education in the United States and ask questions about scholarship opportunities.  The Al Jamiat / US Educational Group Tour is free of charge and open to the public.

Hello,

I live in Saudi Arabia but I still don't understand where is the fair held, Sheraton hotel or Al-Jamiat university? And I did register but will they allow me to get in since I am only a junior in high school? Thank you.

Hi,

I am the Careers Counsellor at a school in Doha, Qatar. I am hoping you can clarify where the fair will be held as it mentions two different locations, the Diplomatic Club and the Movenpick Towers. Do students need to registered for an event and receive an Admittance Pass.

Thanks
should we bring sumthing with us like id card or important papers?
thnx

Hello,
can we just come without registering ???
Susan - sorry for the delay in response: the Diplomatic Club is where the fair will be held. We highly recommend the students preregister so they don't have to wait in line. http://www.al-jamiat.com/register

Fatima, you don't have to bring anything with you, just yourself!

Ameena - you can come without preregistering, there will be a registration table at the door!
This thing is really nice for international students who are willing to study or want to continue their carrier in US

I like the idea of the fairs unfortunately my daughter can not attend because we live in Riyadh Saudi Arabia and apparently there is no fair schedule for this city. Are you going to hold any of these fairs in this city after November 11? any info would be appreciated.

Hi, I have a question and i don't know who to ask about it maybe you do know the answer, I'm a high-school-senior. so does this fair include anything for undergraduate , I mean like for college freshmen.

Marah there is a fair. I've checked with the hotel plus the advertisement is in Al-rai Newspaper. I hope I see you all there.

OMAR Zawahreh, from Jordan
Omar, yes of course there are many opportunities at all the universities for undergraduate students. Be sure to come by the fair at the Sheraton tonight (March 16th) from 6-9pm. 10th, 11th and 12th grade students are more than welcome!

ok thanks a lot Wassan, By the way, do you work with Amideast?
I don't Omar, I'm with Al Jamiat (US Educational Group) we put the fairs together, but AMIDEAST is one of our partners and they will have a booth at the fair. I highly recommend connecting with them, their Amman office is excellent and they have a ton of information about studying in the US!

Sure they do. I've been in the U.S.A. as a YES student and studied the tenth grade there. And the Amideast were very nice to us and very helpful.
