When I was a kid, no one knew about it at all. I remember the first attempts at bringin Halloween here. Didn't work out too well at first, since we already have kinda similar holidays where people dress up in costumes. But it eventually caught on and now it's normal for kids growing up. When I spent my Halloween studying in Australia no one dressed up (except the crazy Americans). We still had fun going out in Melbourne though and watched the Ireland vs Australia International Rules Game that night instead! Polina – that is surprising.
