The University of California Irvine’s Division of Continuing Education (UCI DCE) offers life-enriching academic, professional, and cultural experiences to international audiences to help them succeed in today’s competitive global environment. The experiences we provide include superior English-language instruction, short-term summer programs, post-graduate certificates with the option for Internship and Optional Practical Training (OPT), and comprehensive preparation for successful undergraduate and graduate studies, including study abroad options to receive university credit. We also offer a variety of support services, such as organized cultural activities to foster international students’ adjustment to and competence in participating in American life.

Some of our facilities include the Anteater Recreational Center, Student Health Center, libraries, study centers, and computer labs. The Anteater Recreational Center is equipped with outdoor/indoor fitness labs, basketball courts, tennis courts, aquatics plaza, rock wall, and much more. In addition, students can enjoy all the benefits of living in beautiful and bustling Southern California. UC Irvine is located only 45 minutes away from major cities Los Angeles and San Diego, and it is surrounded by 40 miles of stunning beaches. Irvine enjoys a Mediterranean climate in a very safe, clean, and family oriented environment in the heart of The OC (Orange County).
